I couldn't find any source for a VDX driver which would be willing to install in Win 98. The ones from realtek abort the setup, I tried the recent A4.06 and the oldest which I could rip from their FTP which was A3.98. The WDMR257.exe I also had grapped, also refused to install on Win 98. Google doesn't seem to understand what I am looking for when searching for 'old drivers' oder 'driver archive'. Anyone an idea which addionally I could try to get plain, simple midi sound work for a game designed for the Win 9x times which can't run stable on stuff like Win XP or even Win 7? PS: I am running VirtualBox' latest version 4.0.4 on a Win7 64bit Pro host.
